On a beautiful autumn-like day our juniors lined up for the junior singles.
There were four players in each of the Women’s and Men’s divisions, so a round robin was played.
In the Women’s Division Elisabeth Glinkowska, Nicole Hoy, Chloe Eastham and Diane Dunlop did battle with some excellent bowls played although these did not always show on the scorecard.
In the final, a 29 end battle ensued between Chloe and Elisabeth, with Chloe prevailing giving her three wins and the title.
In the Men’s division Ken Sterne, Brian Hoy, Jim Winter and Adam Batty also played to a very high standard with Adam proving too strong taking the title with three wins with Brian Hoy the runner-up.
Both Chloe and Adam will represent the club at the CoC Finals in April.
