The annual challenge event between Foxton and Beach Bowling Club and Levin Bowling Club took place on the first day of spring. The weather was fine but very windy. Eight teams from each club played two games in a happy afternoon of bowling.
Levin had a very good day with 13 wins and a draw, while Foxton had two wins and a draw so the Challenge trophy will be sitting in the Levin club rooms until we meet again next year.
A tasty afternoon tea was served after play and people enjoyed a social catch up for a time too.
