The Carrell Knight Trophy was played in beautiful conditions at Waitarere Beach. 7 teams competed for the title over a round robin tournament with 4 games on Sunday and 3 on Monday.
It was a close competition with Levin Green hoping to defend their title, however it was not to be. Waitarere Beach played great bowls all weekend and were undefeated at the end. Levin Green placed a very creditable second with Raumati third.
It was a wonderful weekend with all games played in a friendly and happy atmosphere.
Thanks to our hosts Waitarere Beach for a very well run tournament that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
