On November 26th, we had 48 bowlers made up of sixteen teams of triples playing in the Bill Clelland Memorial Gala, very generously sponsored by Kia Mexted Motors. If you’re in the market for a new or used cars, give them serious consideration. They are located on Bristol St, opposite Countdown.
The teams were balloted by the Match Committee and the day was enjoyed by all. The top teams on the day were:
- 1st place: Barnaby Hamid, Gay Calderwood, and Brett Connell with 3 wins, 21 ends and 46 points.
- 2nd place: Ken Hayward, Colleen Hall and Keven Bray with 3 wins, 21 ends and 37 points.
- 3rd place: Mary van der Velden, Irene Poletti and Arnold Taiaroa with 2 wins and a draw, 20 ends and 32 points.
- 4th place: Michael Heather, Chloe Eastham and Karen Muir with 2 wins and a loss, 17 ends and 34 points.
