The Men’s Pairs club championship was held on the 7th and 8th of February attracting sixteen teams. The winners were Paul Gardner and Jim Winter with Barry Cross and Wayne Judd the runners up. The score in the final was 19-8.
The conditions during Saturday qualifying were overcast with a westerly, but pleasant. Eight teams qualified for the post section play. The post section was held on Sunday, alongside the Women’s Pairs post section, and the weather was lovely with a light breeze.
A special thanks to Pat Brown, Dave Bond, Erica Whittaker and Ken Sterne who ran the two Pairs events over the long weekend.
