The Women’s Pairs club championship was held on the 6th and 8th of February attracting ten teams. The winners were Christine Ryan and Elisabeth Glinkowska with Erica Whittaker and Diane Dunlop the runners up. The score in the final was 21-11.
The conditions during Friday qualifying were quite overcast and cool with westerly wind. Five teams qualified for the post section play. The post section was held on Sunday, alongside the Men’s Pairs post section, and the weather was lovely with a light breeze.
A special thanks to Pat Brown, Dave Bond, Erica Whittaker and Ken Sterne who ran the two Pairs events over the long weekend.
