The Men’s Junior Singles were completed today with a quarter final, two semi-finals and the final played. The standard of bowling was high with some very close games where the lead changed often!
Don Newton and Richard Cowles played an exciting game in the final with Don getting away to a good lead before a Richard edged his way closer until they were only two points apart. Don managed to get the winning points to become the club’s Junior men’s Singles Champion.
Congratulations to both Don and Richard. The Champion of Champions event will be held on Sunday March 29th at Waitarere Beach.
