This year qualifying day was on March 1st. There were 20 entries into this year’s Men’s Singles and some wonderful play was seen. It was good to see some newer players improving and providing surprise results.
Post section was played on 8th March, with the final of the Men’s Singles being played March 14th between Graeme Mathie and Duncan Mann. Play was exciting with the scores staying close together all the way through. Graeme eventually got to 21 first and becomes the Men’s Singles Champion for the club. He will be playing in the Champion of Champion’s event on March 28th at Paraparaumu Beach.
