Over this past weekend Waitarere Beach hosted the Carrell Knight tournament which is for woman players 10 years and under.
Levin fielded two teams:
- Levin White: Erica Whittaker, Chloe Eastham and Elisabeth Glinkowska
- Levin Green: Mary van der Velden, Kaye Hogan and Gay Calderwood
There were 8 teams entered from Kapiti Centre which meant a round robin of 4 games on Saturday and 3 games on Sunday.
By close of play on Saturday, Levin White was in the lead with 4 wins, closely followed by Paraparaumu Beach who also had 4 wins but with fewer ends won. Levin Green was coming third with 3 wins.
The clear winners at the end of the tournament was Levin White (the only unbeaten team) with 7 wins.
Paraparaumu Beach were second with 5 wins and Levin Green third with 4 wins.
