The 38th Palmerston North Golden Oldies competition was held over 4 days from 5th-8th March.
Inclement weather – gales and rain on the first day, meant that not a bowl was played and everyone sent home. Days 2 and 3 were played in cold conditions on very heavy greens.
Although the weather looked promising for the final day’s play the organisers made the decision not to play as they wanted to preserve their greens. So the results came from the two days play.

They qualified in C section where they came first equal with a team from Palmerston North, who were the defending champions from the 2023 event. Well done guys!
