It was a beautiful autumn day to be out bowling with a light frost, no wind and the sun out.
In the women’s event three pairs entered, so a round robin style event was played between:
- Gay Calderwood and Elisabeth Glinkowska
- Nicole Hoy and Diane Dunlop
- Mary van der Velden and Chloe Eastham
In the men’s event only two pairs entered, so the format was the best of three games. The two teams were:
- Jim Winter and Richard Cowles
- Ken Sterne and Brian Hoy
The standard of bowling was high from all participants. At the end of the day the winning teams were:
- Mary van der Velden and Chloe Eastham
- Ken Sterne and Brian Hoy
