On 25th of August we held our last Sunday winter 2-4-2 pairs gala of the season. We were delighted to have 24 teams enter from around the district, allowing us to have competitions on each green.
The weather forecast wasn’t great with all the rain that the country has been having lately, but we got away with it once again!
On the Dales green the winners were:
- 1st: Kay Hayward and Adam Batty – 3½ wins, 15 ends and 35 points
- 2nd: Chloe Eastham and Ken Sterne – 3½ wins, 15 ends and 31 points
- 3rd: Bronwyn McMahon and Norman Annand – 3 wins, 15 ends, 30 points
What a close result between first and second place. Well done guys!
And on the Tiger Turf green:
- 1st: Nicky Morgan and Francis Minnell – 4 wins, 17 ends and 48 points
- 2nd: Graeme Mathie and Richard Cowles – 3 wins, 17 ends and 35 points
- 3rd: Elisabeth Glinkowska and Erica Whittaker – 3 wins, 15 ends and 36 points
