The Club’s inaugural pie fundraiser got off to a fantastic start with 231 pies sold and $577.50 raised for the Club. Bacon & Egg; Steak & Cheese; Mince & Cheese and Steak & Kidney were the standout winners over all the sweet and other savoury flavours.

A big thank you to Ralda Adams for her stellar sales effort in her neighbourhood and to everyone else who purchased some pies. Also, many thanks to Nicole Hoy and her children for organising the whole fundraiser, taking orders and payments and sorting the pies on the day.

If you missed out, this will be a regular event, definitely each winter, maybe more often. Let us know when you want the next one.

We couldn’t have done it without the fantastic support of the Rosebowl Bakery and Cafe in Fielding. They make pies, cakes and all sorts of tasty treats. They are on Kimbolton Road and are well worth a visit next time you are passing through.
