The team of Dianne Short, Kathy Field, Erica Whittaker and Mary van der Velden won six of their eight games to lead going into the final round. Diane was unable to play which resulted in a team reshuffle with Kathy skipping and Pat Brown coming into the team.
Needing to win their game with Paraparaumu hot on their heels they showed determination played great bowls to prevail winning the division.
