The Women’s Singles Championship was played over the weekend of February 8th and 9th in very hot conditions.
Fourteen entrants took part with seven moving forward to post section play on Sunday. Elisabeth Glinkowska won the final 21-17 against Chloe Eastham.
There were some excellent bowls played in earlier rounds but the final reached new heights. Both players either got closer or moved what looked like a winning bowl away from the head on several occasions.
Elisabeth’s win makes her both the junior and senior women’s champion for this year.
