The Women’s Championship Triples were played on October 10th and 11th with eight teams entering.
Saturday’s qualifying rounds were playing in pleasant spring weather with the new club shirts being worn by the majority of players. Three teams qualified for post section play on the 11th.
The semi-final game between Elisabeth Glinkowska and Jan Lilico’s teams was closely fought in the early stages with Jan’s team pulling away later on to win 15-7.
Weather on the Sunday was also spring like with a light shower here and there for the final between Jan Lilico and Ronnie’s teams. The game proved to be a resounding win for Ronnie’s team with all members playing exceptional bowls.
