The Women’s Junior Singles was held this Sunday, the first official day of Autumn. The weather was cool and a mixture of cloudy and clear patches.
There were four players taking part in a round robin competition including two players who are quite new to bowls. Exciting play was seen from all and as there was no time limit, the battle went on for quite a while in some games!
Diane Dunlop came out as the winner this year and Nicole Hoy was runner up.
Diane will represent the club at the Champion of Champions at Waitarere Beach on Sunday 29th March.
