This year there were 16 teams entered from across the region. The teams were split into two sections on the Dales green. A total of 6 qualifying games played over Saturday and Sunday morning, and we were fortunate to have pleasant weather on both days with excellent bowling conditions.
The top 4 teams qualified for a semi final round, then the final in the second half of the second day.
Our Levin White team skipped by Graham Cockerell, with Brian Hoy and Don Newton made it to the semi-finals but were knocked out by Raumati Navy.
Congratulations to the winners, Paekakariki Black, consisting of Dylan Thomas, Elijah Minnell, Spike Thomas who overcome Raumati Navy the last few ends of a game which had Raumati lead from the beginning. Many terrific bowls were played over the two days.
